Use of tracking tools

We use two tools to analyse the traffic of our website and the behaviour of the users: the Facebook pixel and Google Analytics.

The Facebook pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our ads by following the actions taken by people on our website. The pixel is based on cookies that collect five types of data:

  1. Data related to the clicks: it includes the clicks on all the buttons that visitors pushed on, the buttons names, and all pages visited as a result of those clicks.
  2. HTTP headers: everything in the HTTP headers. HTTP headers are a standard web protocol sent when a browser requests access to a server on the Internet. HTTP headers include IP addresses, web browser information, page location, document title, the referring URL, and the person using the website
  3. Pixel specific data: it includes the pixel ID and the Facebook cookie.
  4.  Form field names: this refers to the website’s field names, such as “e-mail”, “address” and “quantity” when a customer purchases a product.
  5. Optional values: additional information about the visit using custom data events. Custom data events include conversion value, page type, and more.
  6. This data is collected by Facebook in agreement with the GDPR which requires that the data must be stored for a certain period of time and only for the purposes for which it was collected

This data is collected by Facebook in accordance with the GDPR, which requires that data be kept only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Google Analytics allows us to analyse the traffic on our website. Google Analytics cookies collect the following data:

  • numerical identifiers including cookies
  • Internet Protocol addresses and device identifiers
  • Customer IDs
  • You can disable tracking with these two tracking tools at any time by rejecting the cookies.
