① Custom-made design
We co-design with you a unique, reusable mould, specially tailored for your product.
② Inoculation
Sawdust from Belgian sawmills is mixed with water and mycelium and put into in the mould.
③ Incubation
Following a natural process, the mycelium colonizes the sawdust, transforming this organic matter into a material that takes the shape of the mould.
④ Drying
The myco-material is dried to ensure strength, quality and durability.
⑤ A ready-to-use package
You get a package that is naturally beautiful, unique, high-performing and adapted to your products.
⑥ An eco-friendly end of life cycle
The packaging decomposes in the natural environment in 30 days, nourishing the soil instead of polluting it.
By using sawdust from Belgian sawmills as a substrate for mycelium, the vegetative part of the fungus, we are replicating what happens in nature : the mycelium feeds on organic matter, giving it a second life.
