Organic residues like sawdust are used to create a biodegradable material, able to replace plastic. We use it in our packaging and ecodesign projects.
Our oyster mushrooms grow on the coffee grounds harvested, by bike, from our Brussels partners. In fact, coffee grounds are the perfect base for growing oyster mushrooms thanks to the numerous microelements contained in it.
As they grow, oyster mushrooms turn the coffee grounds into an excellent compost, 100% natural, the “mushpost”. Once we produced oyster mushrooms, we give this mushpost to farmers and to Parckfarm, the urban garden near our workshop
We create them to measure, and they can also be customised by laser engraving. Packaging made from myco-materials is fire and water resistant. Produced in a circular way, they also require ten times less CO2 and eight times less energy than the production of polystyrene foam.
Do you have an unused cellar? Cellars offer an ideal environment for growing mushrooms and we would be happy to share our production techniques with you. Or would you like to become an expert in mushroom production in a circular economy and develop your own business in your town? During our training courses, you will discover our growing methods and our advice on how to start your own profitable business from A to Z.
This soap box is the result of a collaboration between these two Brussels-based companies. A 100% biodegradable mycelium box houses two iconic soaps: Ginger Lime and Black Rose. Available since May 2025, you can still find it in the Savonneries Bruxelloises shop in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert or on their online shop.
